Hi Guys,

First of all, hello everyone and second of all, we think we left an older than current edition of Lowland Outcrops at Traprain Law last weekend (5th July).

If any of you found it, it would be much appreciated if you could get in touch - not so much for the book itself but the owner has logged all the climbs he has done in it so it carried a bit of sentimental/useful value.

Thanks in advance,

Gylen

Hiya,

Was there on Monday 7th, and a couple of girl climbers had found a copy (in a black case).  All I know about them is that their students, I think Medic's, I assume at Edinburgh Uni.  I'll ask my mate if he remembers anything else.  You could try the uni mountaineering club.

Cheers

Hiya,

Cheers for that mate - at least it confirms that we left it there!  I will get in touch with the Uni Mountaineering club and see if we get anywhere with them...Drop me a line if your friend remembers anymore info.

Thanks,

Thanks Guys,

I dropped an email to Edinburgh Uni Mountaineering Club but haven't had a response as yet - maybe they're all on holiday?

Anyway, just wondered if anyone on here might have a contact at the Club they could ask for me?

Thanks,

Gylen

Hi there, sorry...only just found this thread. I've got the guidebook and it's in Edinburgh at the mo sitting in my flat...

Where abouts are you based? Can you pick it up from Edinburgh or do you want me to post it somewhere?

Cheers,

Kim

Hi Kim,

Thanks so much for getting in touch!  I'm based in Glasgow but the book's owner is Edinburgh based so if you like I can PM you his mobile (he's not registered on the forum) and I'm sure he'll be happy to pick it up from wherever suits...Drop me a PM and let me know what you think.

Thanks again,

Gylen

Hi Kim,
Glyen sent me a text to say someone had been in touch who had recovered the guide.

PM = private message

Anyhow as I'm the owner you can always contact me as I have now registered to this site, I usually use the UKClimb site.

Reward is available by the way...
