Hi,
Can anyone provide a more detailed description for getting to the above? I'm probably 5 minutes from this venue if I know where I'm going.

Thanks,

Eddie

Hi,

Went down there on Sturday and spent 1/2 hr wondering around until I found it. It isn't the best but has 3 or 4 worthwhile problems. I particularly enjoyed diamond wall. Also, I pulled a chunk off the humpback so take care.

To get there. Go to Findon, drive down Old Inn Rd. If coming from Aberdeen turn off left down a small track. (Not the turning down to the boat inspection place) Park at the end (Space for two cars but this aint stanage plantation so you'll probably be on your own). It should say path to 'Findon moor viewpoint'. Follow this path until you reach the heather. Turn right and head through the heather. Keep going through bracken, long grass etc until you come to a cove (Not sure this is the right term). Head down into Arnott Boo.

Hope this helps. If you find a better way please tell me as I went in shorts and came away with rashes and ticks.

Also, if you want to meet up for a boulder then send me a message.

cheers,

John

It's on os maps no 938 971, from parking for findon moor go due east across a field and you should be standing on top of arnot boo. Best to get down to boo from it's north side down scree slope. very little vegetation should be encountered on this route but I've only ever gone down in winter. it only takes about 3minutes tops to get to boulders! They aren't the best I have to admit and you should really go at low tide. The cubes are pretty cool though, perfect cuboid shapes, the big slab on large central boulder is entertaining but probably best described as a hvs 4c! Worth a visit I'd have thought if you live close by and a few good easy problems to be had.
