I would just like to point out the wikipedia entry on Norrie Muir:

.....................Get off your high horse MR!

Lots of love, Glasvegas xxx

Dear glasvegas

You must be real gullible to believe what is written in Wikipedia is accurate.  Do you still believe in the Tooth Fairy?

Do you need a hand up to get on your Shetland Pony?

Norrie

PS  Do you have a Phud?

do I have a phud?  What a personal question!  I would ask if you are interested, but I have heard that you swing the other way.......

I do realise that wikipedia is not accurate and that anyone can post any information they like on it.  If it is not accurate (which i think in this case it is) do you care to enlighten us?

No raw nerve hit either, Im quite happy to admit that Im not overly enthusiastic about bouldering full stop, but I do know that Dumbarton is a rank venue with very little aesthetic value which is why I dont like it.  And the climbing isnt too good either.

And with regards to normal/sane people ignoring your comments?  Thats great, but I wouldnt regard myself as normal or particulary sane.  Im sure if your roooobish rants continue to be this boring though, i will stop taking the bate.  Im off to ride into the sunset on my shetland pony to meet the tooth fairy.........

I don't know why someone would want to write about me in Wikipedia, and as I have nothing to do with the entry, I have no intention to correcting what has been written.  So, sorry, but people like yourself are beyond enlightenment.

Dumbarton is the greatest bouldering location for me; it only take 25 minutes to cycle there; great pieces of graphic art to look at when recovering between the circuits and other friendly boulderers.

stop the bus!!!!!!!!

it sounds like you are describing yourself as a friendly boulderer??!!  Well I would place you as being far from friendly, but i dont know you, so maybe you are a really happy go lucky smiley kinda guy.

Yes, i agree that the 'Graphic art' art is fantastic, but only if your on mushies or have had a bottle of bucky for light refreshment, then its super dooper!

Oh please god, i am need of enlightenment...........

and im not too sure why anyone would take the time to write about you on wikipedia either, but my thinking is that the person that wrote it had the intention of attempting to banish you from the climbing scene altogether.  By the way, dont get a big head over it!  And it most certainly wasnt me, who wrote it, before you get any ideas. I had no idea who you were before tonight, but I now know you as a rude, bitter, underachiever with a major chip on your shoulder which has nothing to do with me, so Im not taking any offence to personal insults thrown in my direction.  See a shrink dude......

Aye, right.

Did you get spat off the easier boulder problems at Dumbarton?

A little tip, get a Campus Board and practice on it before you go to Dumbarton again.

Are you some sort religious nut or what?

When you are pleading to God, you should pray for forgiveness for your comments on His Own's Boulders at Dumbarton.

Wolfcrag is spoiled, for me, by the fact that many of the holds are obviously manufactured which makes everything just look ugly and artificial. I think its much "uglier" than say Dumbarton or Cambusbarron which are scarcely picture postcards for exactly that reason.
Its very easy to access and I know lots of people enjoy the climbing but it isn't my favourite place.

In short...
Yes, there is a ridiculous amount of bouldering around the shelterstone.

I've a wee topo of a good circuit at the boulders with safe landings (ie. you'll not carry a mat in that far!)

It's on the Download page of the main site: www.stonecountry.co.uk
